Studio Leveque began as a New Years’ resolution.
Deanna took her first art class as a college freshman, then went on to earn a degree in Studio Art. For the past twenty years she has taught art at the junior high level.
Her subject matter is based on her passions; horses, pets and the people she loves. Painting what you know and love makes the whole processes fun and exciting for her and those emotions are reflected in her work.
Those of us who choose to have relationships with animals know the blessing they are to our quality of life.
My pets have taught me lessons in patience, how to set boundaries, face my fears, and to have faith. They bring me joy and laughter, quiet my spirit and busy mind; provide unconditional love, constant companionship, and heartache when old and infirm.
In my work I try to evoke the emotions we experience in our relationships with those we love.
